Huh?? I thought the whole reason for pre-school was for socialization?

I LOGGED OFF LAST NIGHT,today when i went to my email, i had a list of spam, for well, erections, i was on the forum for just 5 min. maybe, without logging on, i know it came from here,at least i never get that stuff.

You would not believe what is taught in preschool now. There is reading intervention in preschool for those having difficulty with learning letters, etc. This is for four year old preschoolers. My kindergartners are expected to be able to read around 60 high frequency words and to be able to sound out words, in other words, they are reading. They are doing adding and subtracting. It's a whole nother world since no child left behind...

Yep, no more carefree childhood for the little ones today. Preschool is ACADEMIC in far too many places.
