My dog has a skin infection in the top of his body. I want to know if it's okay for him to go to the pool? Will it make it worse? What should I do? The vet shaved off the part so we can see it. It's been a week or 2 that he's had it and I've been putting cream on it and it has gotten better. The first one was the first day we saw it and when the vet shaved off that piece of hair, and the other two are the ones today. Should he go to the pool or not?

Only your Vet can make that decision, but if it were my dog, I would not be taking him to the pool.

When you had your dog at the Vet, did he/she give you any specific care instructions?

Not a vet but I would say NO POOL until the issue is completely healed,
