I have this puppy we got at 7 weeks. I was told she was a golden retriever and lab retriever mix. Dad was a purebred golden and mom was a purebred lab. She is now 19wks old and I’m not sure. Does she look like a typical 19 week golden? The ears are throwing me a bit. Do they ever unfold? She had normal looking floppy ears when she was 8wks old.

She's very cute but, yeah, you're right about the ear set. It's not a golden or lab ear set and does look like a pit mix to me too. If she was part golden I'd expect to see some tail wrapping or other signs of extra fluff coming in at about 4-5 months. If you don't see any she may be a lab/???/pit mix. Maybe do a DNA test to find out. I'm hoping someone finally comes back to report the results on their mystery pup.
