Hi, I'm Juan and we have a 15 month Golden.
He was housebroken, but we started changing his food to Holistic Select, well..yesteray when I got home there was an accident, and same thing happened this morning.
Should I go back and crate him?

All your answers are needed.
Thank you,
Juan:confused:

Are you slowing changing his food to the new? Is he having loose stools? You may need to back up on changing the food and mix it with more of the old food and less of the new, then increase the new in smaller amounts.

If he is having loose stools he can't hold it.

A sudden change of diet can cause problems. I've always done the switch gradually, slowly increasing the amount of the new food and decreasing the old food. Haven't had any problems with switching foods using that approach. Another thought: maybe there is something in the new food to which your pup is allergic. Corn and wheat are possible allergens. If the problem continues, I'd check with your vet.

I agree with the others. Slowly change over to the new food, but if he doesnt improve I would slowly put him back on the other food. Some dogs cant handle the rich holistic foods.
