Is anyone familiar with this supplement?

The specialist asked me last week if Copper takes a chondriotin/glucosamine supplement and he does, but it is just something I get at Tractor Supply.

My friend's vet recommended glycoflex for her older golden who is also having arthritis issues and she really thinks it is great. It is pricey and requires a precription, but I could get that on Monday if it is worth it.

One problem wtih the TS supplement is that I believe Copper swallows it whole. My friend gave me some glycoflex to try and he seemed to chew that (I will observe more closely next time).

Thanks for your advice!

You do not need a prescription for Glycoflex. I have been using it for years and can't say enough good things about it. I would suggest Glycoflex III (3) for your boy. It is very reasonable at KV Vet Supply.

You can also get it at entirelypets.com for a good price. I switched Robbie from over the counter generic gluco/chron to Glycoflex III (bought from entirelypets.com) about 3 months ago and have seen a very marked improvement in his discomfort level. I think it's really helping.
