Hello. :wavey: My puppy is actually due tomorrow. :bowl: As you can tell I am a little excited. I have the pick of the litter, but we haven't decided girl or boy yet. I really don't care. I was looking at the English Goldens last spring, but the time was not right. This fall an employee-to-be sent me a resume, low and behold...she has english goldens. She got hired and I am getting a pup for the new year. :) She has had goldens her whole life and seems responsible. She said she mainly bred them for temperment, two very nice mild mannered dogs. S/he will be a family pet, me my husband and two kids (3and5).

We had a greyhound when we first got married, but I have been looking for a more family-friendly dog. I think the Golden fits the bill.

S/he will be named Piper.

Congrats! We're awaiting the arrival of our second Golden. The litter is due to be born within the next week, so we'll also be bringing our new pup home around the new year! :bowl:

They are coming!

My breeder called this morning after the first one was born. Last I checked there were 3 so far, she is keeping us posted on facebook. :p:

Congratulations to you and your family for getting Piper! I sure hope she/he is a Patriotic Piper and will one day wear the red, white and blue in a banner around his/her neck! My puppy is to be born this week also. I have posted a post in the puppy section on crate training options if anyone has any thoughts. I need all the help I can get in this department. What part of Ohio are you from? I'm a Buckeye myself, born and raised in Ohio!

Congratulations! I love both of mine dearly, but my boy is more mellow and a huge momma's boy. My girl is such a daddy's girl and only when she gets jealous of her brother does she want to sit on my lap. Whichever you choose, I know you will fall in love immediately.

There are 6 girls and 2 boys! So looks like I may end up with a girl. All are doing well, I can't wait to go see them!

Congratulations! I'm getting a girl too, only mine will be coming home in 4 weeks. Do you live close to your breeder? I do, and go up there every weekend to have a quick look (and take a few pictures)...It's amazing how fast they grow in a week!
