Hi guys, do you have any idea why some Goldens have fur on their bellies and others don't?

The only Goldens I have seen that did not have fur on their stomachs, was due to the area being shaved.

I noticed this just recently. I know 3 Goldens without fur on their bellies and they are not shaved. This got me intrigued, but i couldn't find any related info.

By not having any fur, do you mean that the fur is very thin, and you can see the skin? Generally I've known goldens who DO have fur, however it is much thinner and you can easily see the skin on their bellies.
