Hi All
I know this topic has probably been brought up on many many occasions but I can't seem to find info I need in a search. We are moving to a new house that has 2.5 acres of heavily wooded land -- we are very excited for Tucker to have lots of play room but are now a bit concerned about what flea/tick preventative to put him on.

Currently we live in a cookie cutter neighborhood and haven't had to put on topical treatment as we haven't seen a flea or tick on him. With that said, he has always been on once a month sentinel

Any advice?

I live on acreage with a lot of grass, trees, weeds etc. I used Frontline on both the dog & cat. No flea or tick problems.

I always use Heartguard because misquitos are terrible here and I worry about them getting it. My dog Daisy was a failed foster that went thru heartworm treatment. It was very hard and painful. Right now we use Comfortis for the fleas, havent had to worry about ticks. Was using the frontline plus but it just didnt seem to work as well this year.
