Hi there-

Wondering if anyone else has tried the First Mate Pacific Ocean Fish formula? My golden's breath is smelling terrible and I think it's due to switching to this food. I had her on the First Mate chicken blueberry formula, but lately she has been getting red itchy spots on her skin. We eliminated beef and wheat a little while back because she would get an upset tummy. The new diet cured the upset tummy, but now I'm wondering if she is allergic to chicken because of her itchy spots (or it could be something else unrelated, like season allergies, etc.).

What foods do you like that do not contain beef, wheat or chicken? The vet said to feed her fish, lamb or venison.

Have you tried brushing her teeth after she eats? Mine all have fishy, smelly breath if I feed them fish.
