Payton has started this thing when certain people come by for a visit, she gets so excited she pees while saying Hi to the person. Usually it's when she's on her hind legs and has her paws on the person's stomach. Every time she's done this she had been out less than 5 minutes before since I take her out before they get here to avoid this problem. :doh:

Does anyone else have this issue?

Tess did this when I just had her, but she doesn't do it anymore. What works for me, is calming her down before she gets to greet anyone. I make her sit, give her a little treat to get her attention, and then she usually calms down a little. But yes, meeting new persons is a very important thing in puppy life!!!Excitement, excitement...

EmmaRose did this too. It only lasted a very short time before she grew out of it.

my Seabiscuit is doing this, happened twice now in a week.....just hoping she grows out of it

we used to have this problem with Ruby
the only solution we came up with was to allow her to greet people in the garden
so that if she did anything it was outside
she soon grew out of it
