Hello My 4 month old Max has 4 light colored dots that I just noticed on his nose a few days ago..What is this??

Thats what i was thinking too..its just weird since these dots are like almost like a perfect diamond shape of dots!

My dog has gotten "snow nose" every year since a puppy (he's 5 now)

It's been pretty mild so far this winter but he does have one light spot on his nose that just showed up a couple weeks ago.

My daughter called last night and said their golden (3 yrs) was getting a "snow" nose too. They moved to Wash DC from the south and this is Charlie's first winter there. He is an inside dog, & they have had some colder weather, but not near what cold is to come. Wonder why some dogs get this and if it will change back in the warmer months?

Is this typically how now snow nose looks when it starts? The pictures I google of it look so much different then his nose.

Thanks. His nose has always turned back to black in the spring/summer.

OMG NindeGold, that is the cutiest picture EVER! He looks so Full of himself - how cute is that??? You do see the dots. Wonder what makes their noses do this?

I haven't a clue what causes it, but am glad it's only for winter!
