My 4 moth golden puppy recently has been aggressive towards other dogs. He will snip at other dogs if they are going after something he has and will play too rough with dogs, rarely playing the submissive role. I'm confused because I've been taking him to the park socializing him since he was 9 weeks old everyday. Just this week he's started these behaviors. I scold him when he starts, but I'm disappointed in his bad behavior. Has anyone else experienced this? He's fantastic with humans, kids, and most dogs, but this unpredictability is not okay. I'm not sure if he's picked up this habit from another dog or what. Any suggestions or people who've gone through the same thing would be appreciated.

Stop taking him to the dog park. He has learned these behaviors from other dogs, probably having to defend himself from bullying dogs. Dog parks are bad places to socialize puppies.

Find a puppy kindergarten and take training classes with him. He needs to learn to be calm around other dogs and not need to play with them. If you can find friends or family with adult dogs that are puppy tolerant for him to spend time with, they can help him learn appropriate dog to dog interaction. That is the best route for interacting with other dogs, in a controlled situation with people and dogs you know well.
