Just wondering if anyone dresses their dog up for halloween. One of the nonprofits out here is having a costume party fundraiser with the dogs and I think it'd be cute to get a costume for Harvey.

I'm sure I'll take it off if he's too miserable but thought I'd come on here for ideas. If you do dress them up, do you make the costume or buy it somewhere? I've seen a few dog costumes but they were all smaller sizes so if I get one, I'll probably have to do it online or make one.

I'm going to this year! I tried with my cat last year and her clown costume lasted about 2.3 seconds... Heh.

No, I never have. We don't get any kids trick-or-treating here. It would be fun if a lot of kids came by.

Last year Dodger was a skeleton. I'm not sure yet what he'll be this year. It was so funny though because many of the little trick-or-treaters were so excited to see the dogs they had to be reminded to take the candy!

I used to dress Hunter and Trapper up as clowns when they were younger and had more patience. I haven't tried it with Bailey and Eli... yet.

I picked up noahs outfit from the kids section at target. Same price as the dogs stuff...but better.

Oh my goodness things are sure different in the US to the UK for halloween we do get some children dressed up but I have never seen a dog in halloween costume LOL but I say go for it if your pups are okay with that, mine would rip to shreds in 30 seconds LOL

I have so many ideas for mine... I THINK I'm going with Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy for Maxie and Mojo. I'm super excited and will take PLENTY of pictures!!

Duke was Darth Vader for a fundraiser at a local park a few years ago. Bailey was going to be princess Leia, but she wanted to shred the costume rather than wear it.

Duke is adorable! What a cute costume. I hope Harvey is somewhat tolerant of whatever outfit I get him. I'm gonna try to get one that's not super easy to shake off
