Max may need braces!! His one tooth on the bottom between the canines game in a bit off and is pushing the middle one a bit out. I've never noticed a dog with any of it's teeth not in the exact right places.

I'm getting used to this imperfection, and I'm thinking it's kind of cute and totally handy if he ever gets lost. It is something that anyone can easily identify him by.

But I'm wondering....as he gets bigger and his mouth gets bigger, will his teeth readjust into the right place? I know kids teeth keep moving around as they grow.

I don't know if they will. My neighbor has a dog with one canine tooth that sticks out of his mouth and he is a couple years old.

I was joking about the braces.... dropped incisors? one is a bit far back and out of line. I will look up dropped incisors. It's not difference enough to cause him any problems...it's just not beautifully straight across like his top teeth. Hopefully it doesn't bother him!!

Hey Jenn, Harley has the same thing but he has two bottom teeth in the middle (incisors) that jut out. Might make a good beer bottle opener.
how's my buddy Leif?

After re-reading that I can easily see where I mistook that. My apologies!

Ah then maybe it's the sign of a very special dog!! Leif is doing homework right now so he thinks he could be doing better.
