This puppy was slated to die- her time was up. How could I leave her yesterday??

Got her spayed today. Goodness, she is a doll. So sweet. Not a mean bone in her body. She should have a home in no time. Anyone want a charming, adorable dog, this is your girl. Her eye make-up is soooo pretty!

She has rear declaws. I included a photo of that, because it's weird :)

Do you have any guesses on what mix of breeds she is? Some bird dog breeds have rear dews.

What a sweet girl to rescue. Ian is handsome as ever. Love that smile!

If you do not mind me asking: Do you rescue all of these on your own or do you volunteer at a foster? Either way you are an admirable woman!

Although Heidi's Legacy is who I am technically fostering for, I have paid out of pocket for all gas, transport, vet care, spaying, food, and supplies. Not sure if that's how it normally works. I offered- as a donation towards the cause.

Casey was a private adoption, though. The new owner stood and watched me use his adoption fee (the literal, exact same cash) to pay for Crystal and Casey's spaying and vaccinating. This is definitely a great way to lose money! LOL

As long as I can do it this way, I will, so the rescue can help more dogs.

I love doing it. It's extremely rewarding and fun. I enjoyed a break from it, because it does get to you after a while. But I love having new dogs around to play with, train, groom, get to know, and learn from! Every dog is different, and teaches me something. All the love and memories of them all are priceless. It's really just my favorite thing in life. Actually never been happier than I am right now. Just doin' what I like!

She is so sweet. Her markings/coloring remind me a litttle of a Great Pyranese SP? They too have rear dew claws. She sure doesn't have the coat of a GP though definitely some good old hound dog in there! Ian looks like he couldn't be happier.

So glad you saved her.
