So I have my 4 month old on a leash around the house and I hold it unless he's asleep mainly for the purpose of controlling him when he's rowdy and also making sure he doesn't chase our cats. Sometimes he will completely ignore it but other times he starts playing tug with the leash. I've tried giving him his rope toys or bones when he does that and pulling the leash out of his mouth but he's just not getting it. Any suggestions on something to soak the leash in or any alternative methods?

Buy a metal leash. They're cheap, and solve the problem.
