Anne evidently isn't on, but no neither of us are close to the fire. It's about 45 minutes away, to the south. The news coverage is all that's on though and it looks really horrific down there. There are evacuating areas around there as it was a chemical processing plant so lots of toxic emissions.
I just saw the coverage on TV and had a scare because I saw "Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas" on the crawler, with a photo of the flames and I was just across the street from that hospital at my dentists about 20 minutes before. I couldn't believe it at first and was really worried for my dentist and staff and everyone that works at the hospital. :doh::doh: Turns out they were interviewing a physician by phone about the toxicity of the air and risks to people.
It is pretty scary to see that fire and to realize people live so close to that plant. I hope no one is injured or worse.
