Hello Everyone - We finally found a fabulous vet to tend to Chance and his ear tumor . First off we had an appointment with VCA hospital I didn't know this was a chain of vets all over the world with that said I waited over fourty five minutes for our appointment only to be told they are running an hour behind needles to say I left in a very p.o. mood they never apologised or anything , so on to the next vet Roger Reiger at tippecanoe animal hospital , what a gem I have found he was kind and sweet and very concerned with Chance's health he gave him a quick once over and then tended to his ear now for the bad news because we have already had him operated on to remove the mass once Dr. Reiger feels it best not to do again and due to his age he's 11 and also has a slight heart murmur he has prescribed oral antibiotics - pain medication - and also drops we do all this twice daily it has now been five days and his ear is starting to clear of the infection the mass has also gone down some though it will never go away it can be managed from here on out as long as we can keep him clear of ear infections he should do quite well . We now have a standing monthly appointment to keep a close watch on his ear but I can already tell he is much happier (that may be the pain medication talking LOL ) So.. whew my heart goes out to this vet what a relief o find someone who cares about the animal and not the money Chance loved him and that alone is worth it to me I'll keep updating

So glad Chance is doing better and that you found a vet that you and Chance love. Hope he continues to improve.
