I know shes not a golden but our group does all breed rescue and this is a very sweet girl who really needs our help....

Please cross post! Lola needs everybody's help!

Lola (Cyndi) was part of the 80s ladies/Star Wars boys that we rescued from a backyard breeder a couple of months ago (There were 12 dogs total). Lola was matted to the skin, very thin and very shy. We got her cleaned up, in an indoor foster home and worked on finding this 4 yr old Shipoo a new family that would love her as much as we do. Less than a month after Lola was adopted her new mom noticed that Lola would run into things pretty often. Off to the vet she went. It was discovered at the vet visit that Lola has advanced cataracts in both eyes. Without much needed Cataract surgery Lola will loose her sight. We have promised Christine (Lola's mom) that we would do all we could to help raise the much needed funds for this expensive surgery. Cataract surgery alone will be anywhere from $1700-$2000.00 for both eyes. This does not include meds and follow up care.
Please help CARE raise the funds to help Lola take the final step to a happy, healthy life!
