Before we got Gemma we would spend the three winter months travelling in northern Australia - google Broome and Cable Beach and you will see why we want to escape Tasmania's cold wet miserable winters. We chose not to go this year while Gemma was still a pup, but intend to start again next year when she will be 18 months old.

Does anyone have any tips and insights to make this enjoyable for all of us? The travelling won't be a problem - Gemma loves the car and usually sleeps away our car trips - but she hasn't yet slept in the caravan or spent time confined to a park site. We intend to walk/run her early and late when the temperatures are comfortable but she will still be spending a fair bit of time with us under the awning doing very little.

Any help will be appreciated.

There are several members that go RVing with their dogs, hopefully they will see your thread.

Sounds like fun, sure Gemma will enjoy it.
