Maddie (2 years old) has some brown gunk in only one of her ears. I noticed this (maybe last week or so) and thought it was strange, because her ears usually are never dirty and she's never had an infection. It hasn't appeared to bother her at all because she hasn't been shaking her head or scratching. I've been cleaning her ears with brown listerine and I trimmed some of the extra hair out of her ear for air flow.
Well I noticed today that she still has gunk, so I just made a vet appt for tomorrow. She already had her Thyroid tested and it was normal, so is it probably ear mites or a yeast infection?
