Hi all! I am hoping you can help a bit. We are looking for a breeder in Wisconsin. We live in the middle of the state so would consider northern/mid IL as we have family in Northern IL. Also would consider lower MN. I have been in touch with Garcin Goldens, filled out their required application 2 weeks ago and haven't even received an email response back. I chatted with another breeder but then research gold me to stay away from that one. We applied for a puppy with GRRoW last Thursday and already received approval on Monday but now we are waiting, but with specifically wanting a puppy, that may be a while. So my husband is also wanting to explore breeders as well. We have a 5 year old girl but that breeder is not having any litters this year and we just lost our big Banks 2 weeks ago to hemangiosarcoma 1 week after we found out he had this terrible cancer. Any helps would be greatly appreciated. TIA - Deb & Mark

USA Ethical Breeder List This post will be your best friend. There are quite a few WI, MN, and even Michigan ethical breeders :) Just know that for ethical breeders, you may be waiting anywhere from 6 months to a couple of years for a puppy if you have a particular sire/dam in mind.

Thank you so much! I do realize we could be waiting a bit but trying to avoid the almost 2 year wait to get our Ivy. She came from a show breeder, but there was 1 false pregnancy and then a littler with only 2 females and they were sold. So we ended up with Ivy from a co-breeder of hers so we were happy to get her. She def is a diva and can tell she is bred to be shown. But makes the best companion as they all do! I will take a long look at this list and see what we can find. Again, thank you!
