I am thinking of getting a puppy sometime in the next few months. Has anybody gotten a puppy from Millstones Golden? I know there are some negative posts on here from several years ago, but I am curious about the dog they produce.

I am not very familiar with Millstone goldens, but I know Malagold in Michigan is amazing. What are you looking for in a golden? Like do you want to show, do therapy work, or are you looking for a family pet? Do you want a high energy dog, or prefer a calm companion?

Before you make a commitment, find out the registered name of the parents and make sure they are at least two years old and have all four clearances.

We just got a female pup from Micin Retrievers in fair haven. Cindy Fisher is amazing and has great dogs. I think she is planning a litter for the summer. Regarding millstone, I will send you a PM.

Edit: Also I would recommend calling the Fort Detroit Golden Retriever Club puppy referral. Carol Ruby was a lifesaver for my wife and I.
