Brady passed the exam for the American Temperment Test Society today and earned his TT title. The exam was made up of 10 subtests to evaluate how the dogs reacted to various friendly, unusual, startling and threatening stimuli. http://www.atts.org/index.html
Ljilly28 was there with Finn, Tally and Tango also, and they too earned their titles. I believe it was a golden sweep!!!
Next up for Brady...Canine Good Citizen.

Congrats!!! My boys were going for a CD but we settled for a CGC cause I didn't like the competitive attitude here in this area. Selka is also a Delta Society Therapy Dog.

I had never heard of the ATT till recently. Is it relatively new? I know Gunner couldn't do it with gunshots! Selka would be fine though.

Well, I just recently learned about it, but their website says the first test was in 1977.

They've tested 30,000 working and protection dogs, but not nearly as many retrievers. I searched K9data for TT as a title and TT as an honorifc and came up with lots of goldens who passed the test, but it is not as common as CGC. A few GRF breeders have some dogs that passed, which is wonderful to see.
