Hi All, This question has probably been asked very many times before but I'm just too tired to go thru all the threads. I hope you all understand. My soon to be 9 Golden Girl has just been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma with a life expectancy of 3 months. This is my 5th Golden under the age of 10 that has got this awful, awful cancer. My first Golden that I got in 1980 lived to be 15. My second one to 13 and all others 7-9 years old. I've fed "good" quality to the latter ones. My first two had pedigree all there lives and lived the longest. I have now decided to try and make their food but there is so much out there, I just don't know where to start. So my question to all of you is do you have a recipe that you could share with me? For feeding them on a daily basis as well as one for treats. It's my understanding when a dog has cancer you don't want to feed them grain but a protein rich diet. Please, can anyone help me? I want to start immediately in hopes maybe I'll get a little more time with my girl. I've started her on herbs as well. Thank you in advance.
