Oh yay! He has a little doggie flu, and we didn't have a stool sample for the vet, but as soon as we get one he wants us to bring it in. But he gave him some medicine that he said should clear it up really quick, and don't worry about feeding him rice and chicken, the puppy chow is fine. He says overall he is healthy and it's all good. Plus, we just weighed him on Friday and he was 11.7, and today he is an even 13! I'm so relieved!

That's great! Down here that usually means coccidia, which is easy to fix.

oh yay! i'm sorry he has the flu but it's ALWAYS better to know what is wrong than be worried about what it might be. i hope murphy is feeling better soon!!

Bailey had loose stool / diarreah for almost a week after taking her first Interceptor pill. Did you try out the canned pumpkin?
The last 1 1/2 weeks her poop is firm again and I am so glad, that she got over it. I read also in this forum about another golden who got a few days diarreah after taking the dewormer tablet.

Around here, that kind of thing often means giardia co-infection. Good luck with getting past this nasty episode!

How much pumpkin woild you give a puppy with loose stool? Mine is 11.5 weeks and has had loose stool for 4 weeks now
