If it bothers you, simply interrupt it everytime you see him do it, and don't leave him alone with access to pillows, since you won't be able to interrupt it then.

If you're consistent, he'll stop.

Put away the pillows. : )

My dad gave his dog (who is small) her own little boyfriend bear to hump.

Sometimes when Selka and Gunner come in from outside they are all frisky and do humping motions by each other , not actully ON each other. I just make the "ECK" noise and they stop.

Saying no every time he does it will work. Bama had a favorite big bear and he loved to hump it. We took away the bear and everytime he tried to do it to the pillow we told him "No".

At what age does this start? Hank humps his brother when they get to playing but not anything else. He's 3 mos., is it too early to uncross my fingers?

Our friend's daughter has a female golden that is terrible about this, so I know it isn't just a "male" thing. None of my other dogs, intact male or females ever did this.

Mine used to do that. It didn't bother me except I felt a bit sorry for him. All horned up with no where to go. After he got neutered it stopped.

They should make a Blow Up Doggie.
