CKC as in Canadian Kennel Club is equivalent to AKC- CKC as in Continental Kennel Club (who was sued and lost for the use of the acronym CKC and is supposed to be called ContKC, but that doesn't stop the end users from trying to upscale to CKC) is not a good source for anything canine.

Many Canadians use OFA, I would expect to see the same clearances on OFA in CKC dogs.

Doing clearances through the OFA has definitely become the norm for responsible breeders in Canada - it may even be part of the GRCC Code of Ethics for breeders at this point.

I find the CKC listings are often just so out of date and lack any real information. More just like a list that was maybe helpful before people started to create their own websites. I would not use them as a resource myself.
