Our 13 week old puppy poops about 3 times a day- each time it seems like he is pooping at least a cups worth of poop :yuck:. So if I am feeding him a cup of food at each of his 3 meals (does that sound right?) and then he is turning out about a cups (or more) or poop 2-3 times a day :uhoh:.....
Is this normal? I am feeding him Blue Buffalo.

Thanks!

My pup does the same as yours, I'm always amazed...I think it's normal. I feed Eukanuba and she gets 1 1/2 cup 3 times a day.

That is about normal. It will get better as they age.

Bauer eats 3 x 1cup daily (proplan LB Puppy). He poops twice a day, morning and early evening. They are not large poops either... half cup, maybe, if I measured it.

I'm must me so immature. I'm laughing as I type this.

I made the mistake of changing our puppy from Eukanuba (due to 5 stools a day) to Orijen LBP and his poo turned to mush and diarrhea. I was afraid to walk him anywhere for fear I'd have to try to pick that up. I've decided to go back to Eukanuba since his stools were firm. I can deal with frequent stools - just not the mushy ones. Good luck!
