Does anyone else's pup deal with allergies?

Wookie is allergic to so many things, but food-wise potatoes, duck, peas, oatmeal and venison. (He also has a grass allergy - the poor guy). It's been a struggle to find something for him as most foods have peas or potatoes. Wookie is also a picky eater.

Currently, we have him on Nature's Balance Lamb & Brown Rice, but he's still licking paws, and just came down w/ a yeast-based ear infection. What do you all feed your dapper dogs? Starting to consider RAW.

Any suggestions in regards to itching? He takes Zyrtec daily, but still itches. Also started coconut oil/fish oil in his food.

Sounds like your poor guy has a full suite of allergies :(

Our golden is fairly allergic to a few things (wheat being one of them) and is on a couple of piriton tablets a day in the UK (I assume they are similar to Zyrtec). Diet wise we have settled on home cooked food as she gets far less stomach upsets that way and it helped cut down on the itching and eye/ear infections she kept getting, so she tends to get beef or salmon or chicken + mixed veg+ rice or wheat free spaghetti. We either boil it all together and give it to her a soup, or sometimes will cook the meat in the oven and just add the veg etc. Cod liver oil or similar seems to work well to help her skin so we also add that daily.
