Oh that warms my heart. I think the AZ Golden Retriever Rescue is an amazing group. We see them here at our Dogtoberfest every year.

Your location (CA) has been blacklisted.
lol, guess they have a problem with Canadians!
That's funny as they allow us Aussies to see it...
Anyway, here's the story that I cut and pasted below for you Canadians to read.. :) Please enjoy this wonderful story...

"Prince, found in terrible condition in the desert near Tonopah in March, had been the foster of our President Deb Orwig for 4 months while we got his many health issues under control (sarcoptic mange, eye infections, allergies to lots of things, hypothyroid, severely underweight). On an evening near the end of July, Deb got a call from AGR’s Placement Manager, Michele Wehry, asking her to contact Youngtown PD Sergeant Dave Evans, who was looking for a specific kind of dog to train for drug detection. Because of Prince’s obsession with tennis balls among other criteria, both Michele and Deb thought Prince might be a good candidate. He was! After training with Sergeant Dave for gruelingly long days for 3 ½ weeks, Prince passed his certification test! He will begin work as an official narcotics detection dog!
We are so very proud of this throw-away dog that somebody dumped in the desert! If you are a member or supporter of Arizona Golden Rescue you should be proud to be part of this Rescue that saved this dog’s life and that, with your help, we have been able to raise funds enough to be able to spend $2500 to get his health issues diagnosed and under control. We can now provide a healthy, beautiful Golden Retriever for this very important job. If you are not a member or supporter at this time and would like to help rescue more dogs like Prince to help them find their "Forever Homes" please consider supporting Arizona Golden Rescue.
When working, Prince will wear an official police department badge with an ID number on it, just like all the officers. He will also have a bullet-proof vest, which Sergeant Dave will put on him anytime he feels a situation is dangerous enough to merit he, himself, putting one on. Prince and Sergeant Dave will be together 24/7/365 and when he is off duty, Prince will have retiring drug-detection dog Cisco to play with. What a great future for a wonderful dog!
Prince also passed the National Narcotic drug dog association test... 4 rooms with 2 drug finds in each room. 3 mintues for each room. There was a judge in town that Certified him. He now has Duel certifications with NPCA and NNDDA....
CONGRATULATIONS PRINCE!!!!!!!"
