I love getting giant pumpkins for Halloween. I found a farm in Salinas, California that sells them, and have been buying them for the last few years. Here are a few pictures of Logan, Lacey, and Ralphie(the Corgi) with this years pumpkins.

Those are great pictures. I had to laugh when I got to Ralphie's picture. We had a Corgi, named Ranger but a friend of our boys called him Ralph. He said he looked like a Ralph. Must say, Ralphie is adorable and his name sure does suit him. IMO

Yes, I do carve the pumpkins. Once you get the top cut off, they are pretty easy to carve. They actually have less stuff inside then the smaller pumpkins do. The only problem is that you are up to your armpits trying to clean out the inside LOL. They do take about 4 candles to really light them up well. Here is an old picture I have of Ralphie when he was about 5 months old (he is 5 now). My friends all say he looks embarrassed!
