Our boy is 6 months old today! :party2:

I took pictures but just didn't have time to get them on the computer.
I will tonight!

He's a big boy! He has made our family soooo happy!

Thanks guys!!!

Had anyone wondered how big their pup was going to be? Ryder weighs 60-62 lbs. He is hard to cuddle with. When I'm laying on the couch and he jumps up, he is heavy and (still being puppy) he is clumsy as he walks all over me trying to find a spot for himself to lay down.

I know that boys are pron to be bigger but are there big boys because of genes? He was 10lbs 8ozs when we brought him home at almost 8 weeks. I watch what I feed him. He is eating Blue Buffalo 3/4 cup 3 times a day with BB treats for training.

Happy 1/2 Birthday Ryder :party2::party:

Hank had his checkup/shots today, he's 13 weeks and weighed in at 24.8 lbs.

At his last visit the vet said he'd probably top out at 75-80 lbs.

WOW, 60 lbs on 3/4 3x a day??

we are at 6 months this saturday, barely hitting 40 lbs on 1 cup 3x a day plus treats.

man my guy is small.

I adopted lucky when he was 9 months old. He was 85lbs. He is a little overweight. He has since dropped a little. I know they say they should be 70-75lbs but 80 will be where he needs to be imo.

I'm laughing because I think it has to be genetics, right? Vet said his weight is good, that he maybe a 90-95 dog.

Had anyone dropped a meal and instead of 3 times a day gone twice a day? What is common?
Six month bday is saturday teh 17th, tomorrow.
Today i dropped him off at doggie daycare, gave the owner
the baggie of chow and said, this is the last lunch.

didn't know how to explain it to comet that he should enjoy his last one...!

will be interesting this weekend as he is scrambling for food.
just having a bigger bfast isn't going to tide him over at noon.

mid afternoon training session i guess.

Our boy Au Bon's six month-birthday was Oct 12, 2009!

He weighs approximately 53-56 lbs but he is very tall - he is still clumsy too and so cute. :)

Happy half birthday!

HAPPY ½ Birthday!!!!! :D :D :D

We have been feeding Molson only 2 meals a day since we brought him home around 16 weeks. He was being fed 1.5-1.75 cups at each of the 2 meals and was 45-50 pounds at 6 months if I remember correctly

At 8 months he was 60 pounds, and I am estimating now at 9 months old he would weight about 65. I figure he will stop at 70-75 as his parents were both average size.
