This 22 is a secret code between the dogs that frequently visit the Fur Dawgies Only chat thread.

Reading through the thread can give people a headache. After all dogspeak isn't always easy to understand. So I searched through the thread for you for some explanation.

To quote Emmykins ....
"dis is a berre pourtun quesshun bowt da 22. U see da 22 iz da peshall number dat we dawgies alwaz us when we hab tu du sum fing or be sum war. Dis iz da nummer da da Buddeee and da Bobo pigured owt habs da peshall meanin ob lub an stufz. "

Hope that helps.

Our President Buddy is heading into not one, but TWO (!!) tiphoons ... yikes!

His mom is very worried because he likes to sit down outside in tiphoons and not move ... we call this the gloo da bummie behabior. Buddy is very good at that. Though we try to tell him not to do that in tiphoons.

Will he listen this time??

..........

I think it has a lot to do with just getting to know each other's style. It can be hard at first but with a little practice, it becomes much easier.

It can cause problems though :) I work for a food distributor and I was preparing an e-mail to a customer about their seafood and I almost spelled tuna ... TOONA!!! How embarrasing would that be! :p:

There is a thread here where our dogs talk. Well, a long time ago...the number 22 started being used...I believe it started with my Buddy and Martha's BOBO...they just said it in almost every context..

So, BOBO got sick and after he passed on, I was listening to this cd in my car. It was a spiritual teacher and he was talking about different things. All of a sudden I hear something about the number 22 and it being one of the most powerful numbers..." the master builder"...I have since read that it also turns dreams into reality.

I immediately thought of the dogs..knowing very well that this is no coincidence.

I believe in magic and I see such magic in our dogs.

I think they are here to teach us something. I believe the number 22 is a magic number.

dat is dat

So the dawgies continue to use the magic number 22.

Someone needs to write a program that converts to dog speak for us. I'm just not that creative LOL

Thank you for the English translation! I was having a heck of a time reading the dog language!

I can't read it for the life of me but Lambert has no problem. Sometimes he'll read it and translate it for me when it's important, like when Professor PeaBuddy is teaching a lesson.

I am sorry, I asked Jake to stay away from the other lists. He is full of himself at the moment. He keeps saying something about Buddy making him a prez uh dunt. What ever that means.

Anyway, these dogs are CRAZY!!!! but we love them a great deal. Of course if we didn't, we wouldn't let them any where near our computer. I can't tell you how much drool I've had to soak up off the keyboard. It gets really bad when they are talking about bacon for some reason. Hmmm....

Liz, not only bacon, but don't forget the tuna!

My Sophie visited the fur dawgs thread and enjoyed it so much. The pups there always have a warm golden welcome for the newcomers. Sophie got a brother and life got really busy for her, teaching her brother how to behave properly, and going camping so she had no time to see her new friends there. She thinks about them though because I've heard her talking about them to her brother in whispers. She seems to think they're pretty special so she likes to keep them a secret from her mommy.
