So, after reading and hearing about this Golden name Daniel (MBIS/MBISS RBIS GCHP CH Hillock's Jack Daniel's RA JH RATN CGC WCX OS CA SDHF V) that won Westminster best in sporting group and made a name for himself, I looked him up on k9data. I see where "Honorifics" are listed that it shows he was the #1 Golden Retriever in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

When I google #1 Golden Retriever 2020 it shows this girl named Hollywood (GCHS CH Can CH GoldRox Time for a Star SDHF BISS) was the #1 Golden Retriever in 2020.

Which one was actually #1?

Durn, you cut off the graphic before #3- who was Geode!
IMO the AB stats aren't as important as breed- simply because AB stats are mostly built on group wins and breed stats on competition w other Goldens.

IMO All breed and Breed points are equally important. If a judge gives a Group placement to a Golden Retriever, that judge is saying that the Golden is closer to the breed standard of a golden retriever than dogs of other breeds who didn't place in the sporting ring that day. The one that IMO is not equally as important as the AB and B points are the Gr Ch points. Those points are simply a result of Breed wins, Opposite Sex to the Best of Breed wins and Select Dog wins as these 4 categories are also awarded GR Ch points

That's why there are apples and oranges...
when there are breeds in one's group that traditionally tend to hit the mark of the Standard closer than Goldens do, it is a titch skewed. I would agree w you on some breeds but not Goldens.
