Late last night Fender was trying to make his way up the stairs
but his 2 back legs kept giving out and he couldn't do it. He had
To eventually be picked up and brought to his bed. He has yet to
Get up and out of bed just yet, but we are hoping that its not his
Hips like everyone warned us about getting a Golden! He is only
1 year 6 months old so it seems so young for this to be happening!

Any feedback would be appreciated ! We are hopeful that he will be
Fine when he waked up and was maybe just being lazy but it's hard
To tell because in the past few weeks you would go to touch his back
End near his hips and he would let out a little harmless growl

I am so sorry this is happening, but he needs to see the vet or emergency vet right away so they can diagnose.

You need to get to the vet. If a young dog can barely get up the stairs, that's a full blown health crisis. It could be severe hip dysplasia, but it could also be something like a tick borne disease. And a dog who isn't out of bed at 10AM even though his owners are? Is that normal for him? If my dog did that, I'd pick him up and burn rubber to the emergency vet.

A dog that has his legs giving out under him is not lazy...I hope it is nothing really serious, but personally I would already be on my way to the clinic...
