irritation

My golden retriever is 7 months old. The skin around his mouth is a little red, but not dry, just red. He's been scratching it but other than that, there seems to be nothing wrong with him. There was no change in his diet but I did change his shampoo recently. Maybe it's the shampoo? :crying:

Ever since we returned home from our trip to the dog park Saturday evening, Max has been blinking strangely. He still blinks normally, but also does this extended blinking thing, where he keeps his eyes closed an extra second or two, but he's doing it every 20 seconds or so. It's kind of weird...
