  1. First Broken Bone

Golden Retriever Puppy (up to 1 year)
So... my puppy, Anna, broke her leg. She and our coonhound were playing, and the coonhound, being a lot bigger than her, ran her over (not in a mean way, they were just playing). She's done this loads before, and this time, it just hit at the wrong angle. So my mum, who's a vet, x-rayed her...

Golden Retriever Puppy (up to 1 year)

  5. Thoughts on ground up bones?

Golden Retriever Nutrition, Feeding & Recipes
I'm not ready to step into the raw world, but I do feel dogs should get some bones in their diets. What are your thoughts on safety/benefits of ground up bones and which kind are the safest/soft/cleanest to start with? Still a nervous new parent. Oh, and how do you grind them up??
