Oh - and I don't think you need to feel guilty about getting another dog. What better way to honor the memory of a beloved dog than to take everything you've learned and all your love and give another dog a wonderful life?

Getting another dog helped me. It doesn't take away the pain of losing my Allie but I had to feel another golden in my arms. Just over 7 months since Allie has been gone. Still cry, still feel like I cannot breath without her. We just love them with all of our hearts and we do change forever when they go. Sorry for your loss.
