Dog behavioural quiz

Try this quiz and see how your dog rates!

http://www.barkbusters.co.uk/dog-behaviour-quiz

Amber rated 45 = Grade B:
These dogs are angels with a few rough edges. This dog could easily move to the "A" grade with some training.

We are happy with this results considering that Amber has never been to puppy classes or had any professional training. We trained her ourselves with the help of forums like this one and a lot of research on the internet.

Izzy got a B.
Ted got an A. The reason Ted received an A is because he sometimes pulls on the leash, and Izzy always does unless she is really tired or has the gentle leader on. Although when she is being walked by herself she does not pull as bad.

Of course in the eyes of the owner, all of my dogs are A plus.

LOL Bailey got a C, too. Probably because she shreds anything paper and she barks at the doorbell. I don't think that makes a C dog, but maybe I'm wrong. I took that quiz saying to myself "it's just an online quiz, I wonder how many people REALLY think they're dog is an F just because of an online quiz?!". My parent's still loved me as a C student as well lol

Layla got a D, but she is just a young pup still, so I guess I will cut her some slack LOL.

Dream got an A (probably helps that she is almost 12), and Hurley got a B go figure, I guess Hurley is not as bad as I thought.

... Which is why it is in the JUST FOR FUN section and not the Golden Retriever Behaviour Forums one!

As I said we are novice at this. Amber is our first dog and we love her dearly but she hasnít had any professional training so obviously we are proud of her and us!!

The intention of this thread was not to challenge experienced members on this forum.

Going ahead of you in doorways and stairs? Ya gotta be kidding me right? I still don't agree that just because a dog walks ahead of you that s/he thinks they're alpha, or that it's a bad thing, especially when they behave well in other areas.

Sophie's a C, but I think she's really a B. She still pulls on leash at times, and goes ahead of me in doorways.

The mission of the dog---I say it with all reverence---is the same as the mission of Christianity, namely, to teach mankind that the universe is ruled by love. (Dogs and Men)

Yes, that one was an odd one for us too because Amber goes ahead of us. However, she then sits down and wait patiently on the porch (still inside - part of our house) while we actually go outside on our drive and open the car door or call her.

She will not move until we call her... So although she may have lost a few points for this question, in my heart she is a A++++++++ .
