BarkBox?

Does anyone get BarkBox? I’ve been considering it, just because it seems just as fun for me as it does for the pup. I’m wondering if it is worth the value? It seems pretty expensive for what it is, but if the toys are awesome, treats are great, etc. I’d be willing to try for a month.

Anyone tried it out and loved it or hated it?

We got one from a free trial offer. The toys were sturdy, fun, and have lasted. I am pretty picky about treats and where they are sourced so I didn't really feed many of them to my dogs. I can't remember now how closely I even looked at the treats so I can't say they weren't okay. They are too pricey for my budget but Rukie liked it.

We got a 3 month subscription on a deal. The toys and chews were great but the treats weren't so great especially for puppies who tend to have sensitive stomachs

I did learn in the last month that you can request one ingredient treats for sensitive dogs - you might not get a large range but you'll get more natural stuff. If I had to do it again that's what I'd do for sure.

I do miss the fun toys and it was a super awesome deal for the 3 months I did have it. The toys are sturdy (tip - pick heavy chewer - true for most goldens)

Cooper used to be afraid of cardboard boxes when he first saw them and the monthly barkboxes conditioned him to get super excited. It's a party at my place whenever an Amazon shipment arrives since Cooper thinks its Barkbox 🙂

I think itís a good deal for what you get. Iím doing the superchewer box now and will switch to a regular barkbox when this subscription is done. Super Chewer is great for virtually indestructible toys but the toys are not always as attractive to the dogs.

My dogs love the treats but both the Goldens and Cresteds have iron clad stomachs.

For when you switch/select - Barkbox does offer a free upgrade to something called heavy chewer. The toys are more like the regular selection vs the super chewer but with reinforced seams. I'm not sure why they dont offer heavy chewer for everyone since it's a selection of the same toys (just better made). Figure it's a cost thing and they only upgrade people who ask/ need it.

Ps [email protected] GR - Thank you for everything you do to support this awesome breed

I have been getting it but will cancel when the subscription is over. I have found the the treats are too large for training, which is really the only time I give treats. They have great customer service and have replaced toys when they were destroyed in the same day I got them. I now only get the ones that have the ball inside the stuffed toy. Those are the favorites around here and tend to last a little longer.
