Introducing Madison (Maddie)

(Also posted in the Puppy forum - but didn't think everyone frequented there )
Hi Everyone! I've been reading all of your posts for a few weeks loving the advice and stories! I thought it was about time for an introduction. We are new (first time!) golden parents. We got Madison a little over a month ago and our lives have changed ever since. She is 12 weeks old as of yesterday. She is full of energy and spunk and loves to play (read: chase) with our 3 cats (only one of the three will play with her for now).

These pictures (I hope they posted) are from the first weekend "home" so she has already grown tons. I will have to post more recent pictures later. She has darkened and seems to always have one body part bigger than the rest every week.

Glad to have you here on GRF. Your Madison is a real cutie. She sounds like a perfect golden bundle of fluff. If you think she is growing funny now wait till she nears 6 months and you are really starting to wonder if she will every turn into a real golden retriever.

Welcome...............I too, know what you mean about the body growing at different times. It can be pretty funny sometimes, especially when they are all ears!!!

Welcome! Your Maddie is a cutie. I love the photo of her with the cat. lol.
And yes, those growth spurts can be funny. I love the gangly stage, where they're nothing but legs.
