Howdy from another Texan. We e in Ingleside, just out of Corpus Chrisit. BUT we lived in Austin frm '72 til '88. Youngest son graduated from Reagan high school back in '88- and from what we hear now I am glad he is not there now. Was a good school when we went there.
Anway, our girls are KayCee, pure golden age 8 1/2. Had her since she was 8 weeks old. And Honey is our adopted golden mix. We adopted her on Dec. 7, 2002 and she was right at a year old, so we made that her official first birthday as well as adoption day, making her 6 now. Hubby is cross country trick driver, so 90% of the time it is just me and the girls and i do tend to spoil them. Lost our 12 year old male last May and i miss that old man. Can;'t beleive Buck has been gone almost a year. The one in my Avatar is hunter, littermate to kayCee. lost him just past his 4th birthday, adverse reaction to ProHeart6, the 6 month injectable heartworm preventative--which the FDA had them pull 10 months after his death because of so many deaths.
