Hi fellow golden owners!

I have a puppy named Maizy. She will be 1 in February. She is a great addition to our family!!! I am not sure how I stumbled into this forum but it looks great!!! I have been browsing a little today and everyone has gorgeous pups!
Maizy was spayed today and shes definitely not herself right now but they said that is normal. I feel somewhat guilty because she isnt herself right now but I know I did the right thing right? I would love puppies but we just dont have the time/resources to deal with pups right now.

Welcome to the forum to you and Maizy. She will be back to full speed in a day or two. Don't feel guilty at all. Breeding is best left to breeders who do their research and testing. Hope to see pictures of Maizy soon.

Welcome, I'm new here too. This is a very friendly place, so I thought I'd join in and say, "hi". Our Toby is getting neutered in a few weeks, so we'll be feelin' your pain.

We did a lot of research before getting Toby, and we really came to appreciate that breeding is not something to be done by just anyone with a fertile dog. Heck, even among "professional" breeders there's a lot of sloppy work out there.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new family member, as that's what goldens are. She'll be under your feet everywhere you go, and she won't even be insulted on those occasions where you trip over her.

Best regards,

AM.

Welcome to you and Maizy,
She will be fine and dont feel guilty. You did the best thing for her. I agree with everyone so far that breeding takes alot of research, time and money so it is better left to the pros.
Cant wait to see pictures of her. Love her name. She will be back to fun form in a couple of days.
