Rooney turned 9 months yesterday. His energy level is starting to be more consistent, and his personality is just the funniest. Scared of the dark, insists on playing with the cat that hates him, has to spread all of his toys out and play with them one at a time.

Stuart looks like a strong swimmer! Maggie enjoying swimming but is not very coordinated yet. She always looks like she is drowning!!
Lola is beautiful. We are waiting for Maggie to have her first heat also. I am leaving for 2 weeks and I just know it will start when I am gone and my husband will have to handle it, lol.
Roonie is so handsome. Maggie hoards all of her toys and shoves them in the face of our other dogs and cat.
Maggie will need to see an ophthalmologist to have her tear duct looked at. I have a call in to a specialist to see when would be the best time to evaluate and possibly have the surgery if needed. Other than that, she is doing great. We try to get down to the cruise ship docks at least weekly to socialize. She is in training classes and will start a new session in August. She is still around 45 lbs but I think still has some growing to do.

Wow! Chappie is only 67 and I thought he was huge!! He has been 67 for 2 months now so Im wondering if he isnt going to grow anymore.

Post a few more.pics of Stuart out of water standing by a car or you so we can see his size compared to something.

I'm 5'9" and Chappie can put his paws on my chest and lick my face!! Its a trick I taught him when I say "gimme huggies!" Lol if he stretches his paws reach my shoulders! He is long and lanky.

call and he loves to swim and I love swimming with him it's so much fun although I usually end up coming out of the pool with a few red slashes on my arms and legs cuz he always wants to swim right up to me lol. Hey loves diving for toys he can dive in the 3-foot easily to the bottom and I've been teaching him to dive into the six foot bottom well he doesn't dive cuz he doesn't really like to jump off the edge of the pool very much he just starts out from a swimming position and heads downwards and when he gets about halfway I gave him a little shove on the butt to help him get to the bottom in the deep end. and this weekend for the first time he actually got to the bottom of the deep end by himself!
my other golden used to jump off the edge and dives about three or four feet deep if I would go under and hold a toy about halfway down for him but he never would try to swim any farther than that only as far as he could go by diving and I've always been impressed with diving dogs and I have taught chappie a lot of tricks he's learned easily and I knew he would be able to get to the bottom of the deep end with practice. I think it's really amazing that they hold their breath automatically! it's so funny to watch him even in the shallow and because he's like head down and his back feet up in the air out of the water and he's twisting around trying to swim downwards. it's pretty hilarious I'll have to get a video and post it. can you post videos here maybe I'll upload to youtube and just post a link but I need to get a video of him doing all of his tricks too. I'm teaching him to dance with me! I don't aspire to do large-scale dance like at the Houston dog show just this past weekend they had one. but I would like to put on a little show at rescue fundraisers or something like that to help draw visitors. tell you what's fun is to go to one of the Golden retriever rescue annual fundraisers if you have one in your area I know here in Houston there's two rescues I know one of them does that fall in a spring fundraiser that is pretty big and fun to be around all those golden retrievers!! they've done it at George Bush Park in the past and there's a small lake by the picnic area they use and they dumped out a bag of about 100 tennis balls and all the dogs are jumping in the water and chasing balls it's really quite a sight!! they always have a huge amount of items donated for their silent auction to raise money and so if you go to yours bring some money and support the rescue by buying something in the silent auction!

Hey Jules, don't worry about Maggie's size. she's beautiful and her size is adorabley cute. Was she the runt (hate that word cuz has negative meaning to some). Some goldens are on the small size just as Chappie and Stuart are on the large size.

And to everyone else your pups are all georgeous!!

Im curious where everyone is located? Anyone else here in Houston? We could meet up at a dog park maybe?!

Have an amazing day gang!
Tiffany n Chappie 🐶🐾💚

Chappie looks very comfortable in that photo!

I am actually hoping that Maggie stays small. I find her size to be very easy to work with. I am 5' 11" so she looks tiny compared to me

We live in Juneau, AK. Sorry, not close enough to play

We met a Portuguese Water dog named Ripple the other day. Maggie and him played so well together. He is 18 months old.

Taking Stuart to his God-father tonight.

Already miss him just thinking about it. He can not go with us we will be in and out of the Hospital for my mother's surgery over the next four days.

Wyatt his God-Father will enjoy him very much. He lost his Golden 2 years ago and he loves sitting Stuart.

Will make this up to Stuart, taking him camping on the NC outer banks next month.

I can't believe Barkley will be 10 months on FRIDAY! Yikes, how did he get so grown up?! He's doing well with training, and just overall being an awesome boy We've had to curtail our hikes in Hidden Falls because of blue algae, but we're hiking around our house (no water sources to play in, though) and he's liking that. He's still a bit unsure around men he doesn't know, so I'm need to work with the trainer on that - is it just a teen fear thing and he'll grow out of it, or is it a real issue?

Hope everyone is having a great summer!!!
