Look at the pet stairs I got for Jasmine for my SUV- Craigslist deal!

Jasmine is 10 years old and has had two FHOs. Getting into my Highlander can be a bit difficult for her (and me). We had it worked out where she'd put her front feet up and then I'd boost her in. Well, she's been a bit stiffer in her back end after our walks, so I was basically having to lift her up completely to get her loaded in.

I saw one of these: Pet Loader 4 Step- Folding Dog Stairs - Pet Classics™ on Craigslist.

The girl was only asking $50, but I had just had a $600 vet bill for the dogs' annual exam and vaccines, so I just couldn't swing it. So I told her if she didn't sell it at that price, that I would love to buy it for my Jasmine and told her a bit about Jasmine.

Two days later she emailed me and said she'd had a ton of responses, but she wanted to give it to me for free! Well, I couldn't accept that because these things are expensive, so I told her that I would pay her the $30 that I originally told her I could afford.

We got them from her on Saturday. They're a bit heavy, but totally and completely worth it! Jasmine likes walking up into my car and my back has been spared!

Woo hoo!

I use those same steps for my dogs to get up to the grooming table - love them! And it only took a time or two for each of the dogs to be comfortable using them.

I know exactly what you mean - I also have a ramp (might need to think about taking it out again) for the Xterra that Casey used to just jump over and Rowdy never really liked. They do wiggle and rock, and really don't feel as solid as these stairs.

Oh, I could sure use those too...Clyde has gotten quite stiff, and it's alot for me to lift him into the back seat of my truck. What brand are they? Le me know how they work out!

I have had these for quite a few years. I have quit using them because I find it a pain in the bad weather to open up the stairs, and then you have to close the stairs. When Nugget's eyes start getting bad she would have trouble and would try to walk off the side so it took more than one person when we used them. They are too heavy to ship thats for sure. Don't get me wrong they are nice but when you have more then one big dog they do take up some of the dogs space.
