Ok my husband left for work after I did, usually we leave together. He was going to get my car from the shop and leave for work later.

He emails me this AM that Teddi was sick before he left to get the car, and was sick four more times before he got back to drop off the bike he rode to get the car. He said he put her in the crate. GAACK!!!!

Define sick? Was it vomit, diarrhea? Does she need to go to the vet? So now I am stuck at work worrying about Teddi. She was punky yesterday. We returned from up north late Sunday night, I just assumed she was tired. She may have just overdone up north and it is nothing, but now I am worrying about her. Poor Teddi.

He put her in a crate to keep the house under control I am sure, yesterday we gave baths... Teddi may need another if she is cooped up in a crate and get sick.

I might see if our neighbor can check on her after school. See if she has been sick more. Sigh.....

Unfortunately I can't get home and come back. Where I work you leave your parking spot there is no way of parking again. I have to arrive before 7AM just to get a spot. It is too far to run home on lunch too. So I would have to take vacation time.... Sucks....

I will text my neighbor friend Kristin, if she can poke her head in (let the dogs out) she can tell me if Teddi has still been sick if so I will make a vet appointment and go home.

Yes it was vomit, confirmed by dear hubby. I wish he had called me. Of course he left his cell in his car which I have but he could have called me from home.

My poor Teddi. She LOVES sympathy, but not when she needs it.

If he's like mine, he figured he'd get yelled at for NOT putting him in the crate if you came home to puke all over the house. Shows men really don't have a clue...they just do what seems like it will get them in the least amount of trouble.

Is is possible Teddi ate something while up north? Definitely have someone check on him. Sending prayers that everything is okay.

Well I got a text from our neighbor around 3PM Teddi had been sick some more so I called the vet and went home.

Vet was concerned about an obstruction even though she was presenting with fairly normal vitals. She did not like the fact she had vomited at least 6 times. So we took xrays. No obstruction. She however FULL of gas, she looks like a helium balloon. Don't light a match. Vet says she will have diarrhea once the gas passes. OOO so much excitement to look forward to. Teddi was put on a probiotic, metranidazole, and sucrafate to see if we can sooth her unhappy tummy. Tonight is boiled meat and rice for her dinner.

Talked with my supervisor, I can work from home tomorrow to keep an eye on Teddi. The vet said if she is not brighter, to bring her back in for blood work. Hopefully the meds will make her happier.

Poor Teddi....

We were up north for the long holiday weekend, got home Sun PM. I know she didn't 'eat' anything bad, but it is possible she picked up a bacteria or something from the river when she swam.

I have come to face it... if it is going to happen.... it is going to happen to Teddi. Well we went for quite a few months without any instances.... She is making up for lost time I guess.... Poor Teddi.

She was hungry at dinner so that is a good sign. Probably was not thrilled to see is was boiled meat and rice.

Teddi is sleeping by me as I work... (yes I am working ;)) LOL She seems like she feels better this AM but still pretty quiet. She has not had any bouts of vomit and to be honest I have not watched her outside for the other end.

She's my baby.... I feel bad things always happen to her. She has had a rough life so far. Not fair! Poor baby. She is loved.
