Where is the video camera when you need it? Your experience would have been viral on You Tube! Thanks for the laughs, and I'm glad that everyone is OK. I can just picture how this played out!

Our dog park has a big sign before you enter that says absolutely no food (dog or human) allowed in the park.

Wow - you are such a nice person!

I am fairly certain that if I was in that situation I would have told them to leave the park if they're going to be eating food - it's a recipe for disaster!

Maybe I'm just too confrontational, but stupid people just bug me so much!!

Ours does too!

I would have told the idiots to leave then. I dare someone to try and smack my dog. See what you get.

I would not find any humor with an old cranky lady hitting my dog.....period. I would have complained and have had them tossed from the park.

Piper being the "Jersey Girl" she is, would have taken the chicken AND the cane.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.
Inside of a dog, are various chewed pieces of things I used to own .

so does ours
and a big cut out figure of a person with a sign that says "you must be this tall to enter"
Doesn't stop the picnics, the little kids, and the strollers
Which is one reason we rarely go to dog park anymore
