A seizure could explain her pooping in her crate and being tired all day. But I don't remember Apple having seizures, has she? Where does she sleep at night, if it were a seizure, I would have thought you would have heard it. Was her thyroid test sent out to Dr. Dodds?

Aww poor Apple. She's lucky she has you to take care of her.

I hope the vet gets to the bottom of it and has some magical cure to solve all your problems. Keep us posted.

Smile Wet Food :)

What is happening is when you feed her less it takes her longer to have the urge to poop. So she attempts to hold it through the night but is unsuccessful. As she holds it, it makes her stomach upset and she ends up having bad diarreah.

It could also be a food allergy or irritable bowel syndrom.

Here is my suggestion for what it is worth. Go to your local pet or feed store and get a high quality holistic wet food. Blue buffalo's blue wilderness wet food is awesome! Very high in protein and it will make her go. For the next few nights feed this to her for dinner, go by serving suggestions not less. Take her out 30 minutes later to go potty and when she goes give her a tasty treat (a piece of turkey hotdog is the best... healthy, lean, and dogs think it is heaven) and praise her. Let her know she did something great by going potty before bed time.

Why wet food? She will eat it faster because it is more tasty and then her stomach will fill, digest it quicker, and she will need to relieve herself.
Why holistic? Less use of fillers and usually nothing that causes allergies. It is also easier to digest and has higher quality proteins meaning better quality stool.

You may also try to make her food... 1 lb browned ground beaf and 1 bag of pure brown rice... give her 3/4 cup twice a day. This will ensure optimum stool quality and reduce the likelyhood of an allergy to pretty much zero as long as it is pasture raised beef and not corn fed.

Hope this helps!
