OK, depending on the weather and road conditions I have Lady Rose Fraser scheduled for a spay next wednesday. Has anyone used the ElizaSoft recovery collars or the Bite Free Collars? Don't want to use the plastic cones.

I bought the inflatable e-collar for Lexi. I purchased it at Petco, and was extremely happy with it for her spay and also keeping her from licking her foot when she had her toe amputated. She didn't seem to mind it, using it for a pillow to rest her head on. She HATES the plastic collar, and it was a God-send with the recovery period being quite long. I highly recommend it!

We used the ProCollar, which is an inflatable collar that prevents them from getting to the stitches. It was a big improvement over the e-collar. Eleanor came home with the e-collar and she just refused to walk with it on. I got the ProCollar at petsmart for about 35.00 and worth every penny.
